Morris 8 tourer series 1 1935. Part 1

1936 Morris 8 tourer was my first car. Cost me £2 and 10 shillings in 1966 and I started to learn to drive in it with my father. Top speed of about 45 mph at which speed, bits would fall off. Eventually scrapped it having removed the engine to put in a 1937 Morris 8 saloon. Happy days!

My first car just like this one cost me £12.10.00 reg DOC 881 from City Motors London Road Gloucester in 1964. At 18 I thought thought I was jack the lad with the hood down.I have owned a soft top car all my life, although not my main day to day car.
