It's crazy the amount of influence Tnsu has had on lines.. You got Cau playing tnsu stuff and Mbc and Bcc playing remixes of Tnsu stick control. People been looking up to them Rats..💯

Yep; different heads and different tuning than what is used to date, for sure (same woods from that Premier set as well as the Yamaha set)! I liked Morris Brown’s tenor drum tone on this video and in 1997 as well.

Juan Singleton: The REMO set were the last ‘skinny’ tenor drums used. The Premier (featured in this video), Yamaha and Pearl are a deeper shell. These comments are coming from someone who was in that line.

“Stick Control” was written by Pedro D. Orey, our percussion instructor (B-CU neé B-CC) in 1989/1990. I wanna say 1990, as this was the year prior to Bethune-Cookman and Morris Brown playing in the Bahamas in 1991.

Yeah Stick Control comes from Cookman. There was some debate but this was the last time we played it.

I thought Clark drumline was just going thru some things because of declining numbers but I see they been off for some years. Southwest Dekalb High School would have been way more entertaining than Clark.
