My best Manish Water experience was out in country at a wake as a child, when dem used to serve it in the little brown and white paper cups with the handle. This transport me to all those years ago. I love that pot and how the soup was prepared 😋, you shouldn't burst the pepper, that's why it's so spicy, you should put them in, let the flavour release, I love Manish water/soup

Hay Morris, I’m living in Canada and it’s so hard to fine burnt goat head, but when do find I’ll pickup a couple up. Sometimes I would add cow cod. I love that soup, special the meat. Continue tasting at the end of your cooking. Enjoy every minute of your cooking. PS Love the glass pot, will be getting one:)

Thanks for the recipe! I will adapt it to suit my tastes. Btw…scallion and green onion are THE SAME. Green onion is older, more mature scallion. It will therefore be a little bigger bulb, with a slightly stronger onion flavor, but they are the same plant.

Hi Adrian, your description is excellent. I will try this recipe soon. We went to the hills of Manchester to visit my husband's family. They pulled up yams from the soil and roasted the yams with roasted salt fish. It was the best meal that I've ever had.
