Morris Yachts 38 SOLD by Ben Knowles from East Coast Yacht Sales

In this video Ben Knowles takes you through a detailed tour of a Morris Yachts 38 which has since sold. She is a 1994 and is in excellent condition with continued upgrades. Morris Yachts are well known for their attention to detail and fine joinery. The level of detail was taken to an extreme with EVENTIDE with clever and useful storage compartments throughout the boat. The current owners have recently made short-handed sailing even easier with the installation of an in-boom roller furling mainsail by Leisurefurl. Wow this is a tear jerker for me. Brings back great memories servicing her for years in Bass Harbor. Those were the good times. No other boatbuilder was like Morris. Family all the way. A Bye gone era. The stories I could tell with these boats I shared with my co-workers and the public will never know. sea trials were all in lol. We laid them over like a 50yo Pilot 35; they BOTH are tough as woodpecker lips. But MY's "Eventide" is among the best .. "Alacrity", and " Farout". to name a few a couple more. Miss those days like no other. Fair winds and following seas, RIP Tom and Tina. RIP. Good People for sure.

It's a beautiful boat that's in great shape, but $275K for a 27 year old 38' sailboat??? I'm assuming you're paying for the name because you could buy a brand new 38' sailboat with modern features and increased interior room for about the same price.
