As a person who suffers from social and general anxiety i could never do this in public but this really does look nice. The lady serving seems nice and the breakfast doesn't look half bad either. Thanks for the review it makes me feel like im having my breakfast at Morrisons even though it may only be a cuppa tea and a biscuit :)

The beans are probably served in that little pot because they go cold so quickly when they're poured out onto the plate. Usually a big heavy stoneware plate heated in a warm oven is used to keep a breakfast like that from cooling off. I don't know what Morrison's serves their food on, but they probably don't have the option of heavy stoneware so they have to use other methods to try to keep things hot.

Hi Andy I’ve never really thought of that, however small cafes can have a hot plate so can’t see why the big boys carnt🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Hi Greg, I used to enjoy a Morrison's breakfast on a Sunday morning with the family before doing our weekly shop! I've not been for years! We had a great Morrisons breakfast at the store in Wrexham when we were on a short break there a few years ago! It came out piping hot with what looked and tasted like local sausages(not the usual frozen ones). No hash browns and a slice of black pudding instead! 😋😄 I enjoyed your review, but I don't think it's inspired me to rush down to Morrisons, Cheadle Heath for breakfast any time soon. I think there are probably nicer places fairly locally you can get a really good cooked breakfast for a similar price point! Have you thought about reviewing the Edgeley institution that is Sivori's Café? 😊 I think Paul would really enjoy that! 😄

Hello Lisa it’s a good job I review these places to save peoples hard earned money, I’m trying to point out that these shopping supermarkets can’t compete with the little cafes for value or taste. To be fair the Morrison`s breakfast do vary from store to store my local one is Chesterfield and its bob on ie quality quantity and hot enough and considering the price and what you can pay elsewhere i think its great value its amazing now what places do charge for breakfast think average is £10 the drinks on top but your right about plates being served hot that is a must and maybe you may of enjoyed your breakfast better. I've been to that same Morrisons with a mate from Edgeley. He had all day breakfast and I had scampi and chips. We both said it was 'alright'. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about for the money. Shaw Road chippy round that neck of the woods was good. Don't know if you've been there ?

Nice review. I've not been here for a few years, but I'm sure the portions used to be bigger. I've had some 5/5 meals here, and some 2/5 where the food was cold. It's hit-and-miss.

I used the Morrisons in Failsworth a few weeks ago. Never again, the Sausages tasted like dog treats & The bacon was shriveled down to the size of 50p pieces. Your sausages looked ok. Cheadle is a Bit more upmarket than Failsworth.

to value the breakfast is to find out the cost in the shop to buy the items and the cost of the number of items used to make the breakfast. may be it did not take long as most of it was cooked and being kept warm on a hot plate the only reason why they would bring the sauces and control how many you get is to save money. so people can not take a handful home. this may be the reason why even though cheaper to just use a bottle of sauce is that they fear people jut stealing the bottles But for value you need a good number of item, for a low price have to pay £1.85 for a drink I would say bring your own.

I would say the sausages, bacon, beans and hash browns were pre cooked and left under lights out back hence why it came out quickly and was only warm. Tomato only shown the pan briefly, hate that. Good value but should be hotter.

Hi Greg: Per usual, Good food review from your good self Sir; And you always get that honest important thumbs up from me. To be honest I thought on this occasion at Morrison's Cheadle the customer service side of things you received was a little to flat for my liking having myself come from more than 20'years service within retail, Plus I have served you myself in person in one of my former employment positions and there is room for future improvement at Morrison's Cafe. if this had been an audit today I honestly would have scored it low on this occasion and it perhaps would have failed so I think Mr J Morrison needs to review his level of staff service and the kitchen customer facilities like Hot plates, Warmed Knife & Forks, Cups and proper hot food. I personally from this side of the camera thought the Ash Browns were overcooked as you said they were crunchy. From my own long-term customer service experience there is room for improvement as the response was just to common but not sounding to harsh here. Sorry my friend but you wanted an honest review well consider you just got one from a well trained former retail experience service assistant whom has served you myself in person but it would be unreasonable to say where, But I believe you will know when driving your bus again keeping matters confidential at best to where you work with given respect. Unfortunately Morrisons have a habit of batch cooking and keeping it all on a hot plate or in a metal tray. Hence most of the time it comes out warm or cold even, been there many times. If you complain theyll never offer another one as itll be the same, theyll refund you. Thats why you had it so quickly.
