I cannot get over how stunning Morrissey looks in this video. This is without a` doubt one of his greatest songs.

Moz does give someone who suffers from clinical depression hope can't tell you how many times I've almost thrown down those last handfuls of Xanax n oxy with my vodka when one of his songs stops me n I just pass out. So thanks Moz at least for my children's sake!

What a song and this performance is stunning. I heard Jonathan Ross invited him on the show personally and EMI knew nothing about it - class!

Not a Morrissey fan at all, but continually drawn back by a compulsive performance. I remember seeing this when it went out live and treasured the memory for years after. Only now in my early 50s do I understand what he's singing about. It's my own personal mantra - 'The more of the world I see, the less I want to see of it'. I think he's genuinely letting out a part of himself beyond the 'persona' - and good for him.

This should have been an A-side instead of a B-side. One of his greatest early solo songs ever. Simple, beautiful and profound.

Just, beautiful. Gorgeous vocal performance. On a side note, I love that thing he did for a while of wearing plasters. Is that Vinni Reilly on guitar?
