I was 15 when I first heard "Last of the Famous International Playboys". I'm 36 now and still listen to Morrissey and The Smiths nearly every day. He's been with me 21 years now :-)

You must be 45 now? Do you still listen to Morrissey and The Smiths nearly every day?

You're in some confusion about what constitutes a god.

@@jimnewcombe7584 I don't believe in God or gods but he is as close as it gets.

A very relaxed moz. And the result is a really good and interesting interview. Enjoy!

Reminds me a lot of John lennons way of thinking ,writing songs about who and what he is and thinks ,in fact John Lennon said a lot of similar things ,two absolute genius in my book .

Finally, a good interviewer too! It seems like Moz always ends up with the most ignorant interviewers in other cases!

He wouldn't be that depressing to Karl. Karl has read up on the "loneliest man in the world....ever"
@jimnewcombe7584 Жыл бұрын
Is he lonely though? He constantly says he loves his own company and doesn't understand why people want to be in the company of other people.

XFM in 2004? Damn, he could have been interviewed by Karl Pilkington, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. What could have been!
@Yimello8 ай бұрын
Karl and Moz could have shared stories of manchester

I thought he said "NEIL Young at 3.00" - I was about to launch myself at the screen. It would have been Jimmy Through the Looking Glass.

his interview with dermot oleary a few weeks ago was a lot different to this. He was portrayed to be quite rude in the Dermot Oleary one...as he usually is portrayed
@katewolfspirit67222 жыл бұрын
Dermot O'Dreary is not a good interviewer in my humble opinion.

One requires a 'big ego' to handle all the crap around pop music. I don't blame him to be an enlightened original singer, songwriter. McCartney's over rated

What's the lip synccer he mentions around 21:20?

I'm the opposite of Morrissey. I find the food in England repulsive and the food in America better. But then I'm not a complete vegetarian.
@overcastx312 жыл бұрын
Morrissey I love you but let's be honest. The one with the "biggest ego of the planet" is you. Many pop and rock stars actually seem quite humble

And let's be honest, if you were that talented, admired, loved, witty, and handsome you'd have a big ego too.

He was chunky you mean. Middle aged people put on weight because of diminished metabolism. I'm sure at his heaviest his BMI was still between 20-25. That's not fat. That's a tad bit overweight.
