In defense of the other ninja (Jay Zane Cole), they have long since accepted Lloyd as the Green Ninja before Kai ever could. Tournament of Elements was proof that Kai had bottled up that grief for the entire show up until the Season 5 premiere, before that there's been a lot of evidence that after Lloyd's destiny was revealed, Kai has doubted himself and his own abilities, and him not being the one makes him a weak person and/or a bad person. By the point of season 4, he's seen for himself Lloyd's appeal and how Lloyd is a better leader and hero than Kai could ever be. Cause remember, Kai is the one with the younger sibling. He's the one with the responsibility of being the one the others look up to. But his own sister doesn't. She finds inspiration from her own gear. The others had accepted Lloyd was their leader a long time ago and idolized him. Kai is more focused on protecting someone he sees as a surrogate little brother, out of guilt for nearly becoming a monster towards Lloyd. This isn't just the chosen one to him, if he can't save Lloyd from this ghost's possession, he has no right to call himself a ninja. The others were not in the scene of Kai getting corrupted by the staff, they didn't see it happen, it's not implied Kai ever told them about it, so of course they're just gonna assume Kai's being impulsive paranoid and having another anger mood swing because 'that's Kai for you'.

*Morro* is one of the best-written villains of the show and has a sympathetic story that reminds me of *Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda* , both were raised and taught everything they know by their masters/father figures, and both were made to think they were born for greatness by their mentor's, both seek revenge against their masters for living a life full of expectations and lies, and both went after the true chosen one in order to claim their misguided birthright Nya also becoming the Water Ninja and the newest member of the Ninja team is one of the best decisions of the show that really develops her character to go on a great character arc.

Yeah Morro and Tai Lung be doing the pointing spiderman meme at one another, Their stories are very similar. I have no doubt the writers took inspiration from Tai Lung while making morro- I wouldn't say its a straight carbon copy, as they are both distinct enough

Love Wu’s test for Nya, it just works so well. She has to learn the same way Kai did (throwing the sword at wu’s tea cup) that there’s more then one way to solve a problem. Funny how neither water or fire are solid elements but both their masters are some of the most stubborn people in ninjago.

Hell yeah, this season's version of "Weekend Whip" is the best. And Morro's the best Ninjago villain. (I've seen so far.) He's basically the Tai Lung to Wu's Shifu, obsessed with a destiny that was never his. Only difference is, Morro's desire to be the chosen one continued long after death. Also, sorry you got spoiled about Nya.

And how his suit is given off a kinda of green smoke/mist from it. I personally wouldn't say morro is a villain just a broken child 💔 he was made to believe he was the chosen one only to have that prize given to someone else that would make anyone snap. I really feel bad for morro because he was never an actual bad guy just broken 💔 😓 I really hope he returns in another season and turns good maybe even teaming up withe ninja.

I think Ronin's first appearence in the Ninjago cannon was as the villain of a game. I saw glimpses of the game before watching this season for a second time around but aside from that I had no idea who he was before.

If you look closely at the green ninja reveal scene you will notice that the sword of fire is a low budget ripoff. maybe he would have been chosen as the green ninja. Also look at Morros smile at 10:28 it isn't evil he genuinely likes being the green ninja. Also (information that will never come up in the show but is canon) Ronin was the one who sold zane and pixel to Chen at the end of rebooted.

So interesting thing about Ronan, he was actually supposed to be the main villain of this season, but they completely scrapped and turned what would have been season 6 into a game. Only thing that doesnt make sense is that nya asks "who's ronan?" Which is weird because they did meet in the game. Its called Ninjago: Shadow Of Ronan" it even had its own opening in the games style.
