I was re-playing morrowind when I re-discovered the 6th house bells! I decided it was about time to get creative.

I still remember spending hours in this room trying to figure out the reason for the bells. I knew I MUST be missing something because there is no way a game developer would take the time and resources to add working bells like this. Turns out yes, they totally put them in the game for no reason at all.
@avelynihyll53423 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure it's actually a lore reason because Dagoth Ur used music (fittingly tapping the Heart of Lorkhan with the tools to make a drumbeat) to become a god. That's why he says He's "older than music" in his address in the 36 Lessons of Vivec. I imagine precussion instruments are vital to his worshipers' rituals.
@LegDayLas3 жыл бұрын
@@avelynihyll5342 still doesn't mean they actually needed to program the bells to function, could get the same lore by just putting a generic prop in. Generally if a developer takes the effort to add an interaction aspect to the games props, that interaction has a functional reason for existence.

*Advancement* You've done a great job for the Bards Guild! Here's your Christmas Present Early, Nwah, a Custom Jump Spell ! A normal Jump 100pts spell takes you very far, but you can easily TRIPLE the distance it takes you by making the following spell that fits on a single enchantment: Feather 100pts 1sec Jump 100pts 1 sec Fortify Strength100pts 1 sec Fortify Strength100pts 1 sec Fortify Strength100pts 1 sec (Yes 300 pts total) Make sure the effects are in this exact order, and you might have to reduce one of the effects a few points down to make it fit on your item, but none should need to be rescued below 90 points. This enchantment can fit on the Exquite Jewelry, and if you cast it from the Dome of the Palace of Vivec, you can get to Tel Branora in 3 jumps! I discovered it myself after lots of magical research because I love Jumping Spells and it's been lots of fun. You NEED slowfall to land though, but DO NOT have Slowfall active when you press jump, as contrary to popular belief even 1 point of slowfall drastically reduces total jump distance (easy to test and prove, just jump from the same spot with and without slowfall) 125 points in Acrobatics negates all Fall Damage I think. Also pushing the thumbstick forward during the entire length of the jump takes you further than not touching it at all, most everyone knows this but a good reminder for distance testing purposes.

A sleeper grasping at a distant memory, playing the notes from the mist of his life before. The notes mean nothing, the motion automatic. The dull tones satisfy the itch and if he had a face, it may have smiled. That was it, like an odd shape dropping into a rightly odd hole. A completeness warmed him, that was enough. Now, back to dreaming.
