I just one shot the cliff racers with dire frost arrows from the restocking merchant in the gate temple. They seem really susceptible to those gnarly things.

How many mods you running with? I have 252 mods on mine. Mod it to death but looks awesome.

I am using the Morrowind Graphics and Sound Overhaul package and a number of other graphics mods for body replacers, foliage, etc. If the game didn't crash along the way, you didn't do it right! Thanks for watching!
