Mors is the epitome of class and the 'grandfather' of bushcraft. Nice vid.

I have that pot and have been using it for over a year now. I use it a lot in the woods and it works great. A lot to be said for having a larger pot. It's a great size, and it's proving to be quite durable. Great piece of kit whoever invented in ;-)

The man said it all, "WHEN, YOU DROP IT" one of the keys to being a outdoorsmen's is knowing things will go wrong. What he was talking about with the lid is two bumps sticking out, that channel in to a pair of "L" slots on the pot. Other things I've seen are a chain with snaps on each end to hook the lid on and hang it. But most important of all, high temp RED paint strips on the lid and top of the pot! Because you will drop it!

If someone would make that in stainless steel, they would make a lot of money because toxic aluminum is what everybody’s getting away from these days

You don’t want to have a pot with internal threads with a twisting locking lid because those threads will be difficult to clean

Actually had a great 45 min conversation about this pot today... before I saw this video.

What about people in the UK who want to buy one seems much more expensive than buying one when living in the US.

Any chance that there is a Stainless Steel version of this pot or another similarly made one?

actually he said that you should "mangle the lid" so that if dropped their is minimal spillage;)

He did not mangle it, he intentionally demonstrated what happens when the lid is not mangled.

Realistically, you don't need a massive podlike that in the bush. It makes no sense. A smaller kit will serve you better.
