Round 1: Solid verses (There were a few highlight verses like Mike, Kazi, Jethro and Jamo. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think Jamo referenced me in his verse😭) Round 2: Struggled to understand/hear/vibe with alot of these verses. But Yung Sheriff and CreateLadyJ had my favorite verses on this whole cypher. They wasn’t playing. Round 3: I feel like this is when the cypher died down for me personally. I wasn’t really invested in these verses aside from Rap-Roasted. They weren’t BAD, just not mind-blowing. Overall: Solid Cypher. Even though there wasn’t anything that had me stank faced, alot of these artists did not come to play around🔥 And some of these artists really left me feeling like I underestimated them. 🙏🏽 The mix was sloppy on some parts (like very sloppy) but solid stuff y’all 🌸✨ Edit: Flint 4k has my new fav. His schemes was unbelievable

Now this is what I want a Mortal Kombat 1 cypher to be; a cypher for all of the characters in the game. There are a few cyphers for MK1, but they don’t do all the characters so this one gets more points for including everyone, because what’s the point of doing a cypher for a game if you don’t do everyone. I also like the 3 different sections with unique beats for the rounds; Round 2 is my favourite due to feeling more intense & has several of my favourite verses. Overall, this is a solid cypher with my favourite verses being Kung Lao, Baraka, Li Mei, Ashrah, Sindel, Reiko, Scorpion, Sub-Zero & Shang Tsung.
