I would’ve thought they would easily be in since Kitana and Sindel are in and since we’re going back in time. If this roster leak true, honestly if Omni man, Peacemaker and Homelander weren’t in which they have nothing to do with Mortal Kombat, we could’ve gotten Jade and Sheeva or other MK characters. this roster has actually great variety of villains. Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Reiko, Quan Chi, Baraka, Ermac, Reptile, Kano, Havik... maybe even Onaga if he becomes playable. Geras and Takeda return from previous games, I like that because they were good ones out of the newcomers in the game they made their debuts. Id like to see Erron and Kotal too but oh well the only thing I dont like is the absence of Goro & Kintaro and cyborgs. and I also dont like 3 spots are occupied by 3 irrelevant guest instead of MK characters. those 3 slots could be Goro and/or Kintaro, Cyrax and/or Sektor

@@Mikesthetics I'd say this is 100% it so far. There's a leaked cutscene of Reiko and Motaro, Reiko could be playable while Motaro is a kameo. Reiko talks about "the general," which seems certain to be Shao. And it sounds like Shao plans to stage a military coup, start a new regime, which would be overthrowing Empress Sindel (also almost certain to appear). Unless this is Shao and Sindel planning it together. Anothe trailer confirms Li Mei used to lead the guardian faction and she failed to save the Emperor. Only part of it that doesn't seem set in stone is whether or not Sindel is in on this with Shao. Old history says she isn't, but the 11 version of history she was, so it could be either way this time.

Given the fact that the sub-zero in this game is most likely Bi-han, it would weird for Noob Saibot to be here too unless nrs did time travel again, but the would be retreading ground to quickly, or if he was a completely separate with little to no connection to Bi-han at all, For now all we can do is wait and see.
