honestly this story was very meh glad i didn't purchase the DLC. Designs for the characters were hit or miss and the story felt rushed and power levels being upscaled and nerfed at a whim. It didn't feel there was any actual impact from all the story points. they had a whole timeline of chaos characters to use as cannon fodder but barley anyone uses their powers to kill anyone and just mainly throws kicks and punches to defeat goons. For a game about gory kills and deaths there was a huge lack of it. id give this DLC a 6/10 its only above a 5 because i like noob saibot

Maybe I'm just an old man now(even though I'm only 34) but, This new MK story doesn't really do it for me. I prefer the Midway/Early NetherRealm story line. There was so much more development throughout the decades. Now, everything is so rushed that nothing really makes any sense. Plus I miss Hanzo Hasashi's life story and the older Raiden. This new Raiden doesn't work for me. He's just some kid whose powers come from a medallion, meanwhile, the older Raiden was a literal God and his powers were HIS power. I don't really know what to say except that I'm happy I didn't have to spend money to know about this story. It is sooooo underwhelming and boring. Bi-Han is just Bi-Han. Liu Kang not wanting Havik to die after killing two titans and knowing that killing a titan doesn't end the time line. Just everything about this whole story was boring. Mortal Kombat 1 and it's expansion have the weakest storyline I've come across so far....AND WHERE IS HANZO HAZASHI?

Onaga will likely be the next major antagonist in MK2. Shao and Reiko have both mentioned in their intros and their endings that they are planning to "tame" Onaga and use him against Empress Mileena to overthrow her. However this will only result in Onaga turning on Shao and Reiko when the timing is fitting, and seizing Mileena's throne for himself.

Bi Han was villain for barley 5 minutes. He first attacks a wedding (which he got off way to easy) then he turns to Havik and gets his shadow powers and turns good immediately?! Bi Han as a secondary villain as Noob Saibot should have easily been a dlc on its own. He got a redemption way to easy. He got the Injustice Harley Quinn treatment: someone who deserved execution but got off too lightly
