Khaos Reigns brought plenty of bangers. MK1's OST already surpassed MK11's by a long margin.

But Mk11 has better gameplay, story, ending and some stanges are truly unique. So in overall, mk1 sometimes has better music. thats... pretty much all.

@@thereturntobloodynights Better gameplay - highly debatable. MK11 has way less combos, the custom variations isn't a good idea and some of the "tournament variations" makes certain characters useless. Like Noob, not a single one of his tournament variations is good. Better story - whatever problem MK1 has with story can be traced back to MK11. Kronika is a trash villain, evil Sindel, Jade being a nothing in the story, the list goes on. Not to mention the story rebooting itself twice in a single game. MK1 also has truly unique stages. Overall I like them better than "military base" than MK11. About the only good stages from 11 are: the Sea of Blood, Dead Pool and Soul Chamber (which came with Aftermath). People are just on the "it's cool to hate on MK1" phase right now, if MK13 comes out and it's somewhat worse, people will start loving MK1.

Has the best roster we’ve seen in awhile and the fuckin stages are crazy beautiful and so filled with just cool shit. However I will say mk11 felt “complete” at launch considering all the intro and victory animations and ofc the krypt where mk1 is severely lacking
