Bruised over his defeat he seeks out a greater source of power so sends Sektor into the temple of elements to retrieve the amulet. She gains it and he dosent have the strength to handle its power and instantly consumed becoming noob 3. Now possessed by its power he starts enacting something terrible Revants of cyber lion kuei. Cyrax finally sees his cold heart and defects so she fights some of the lion kuei…Sektor and later the good guys who don’t believe her defection 4. Noob chapter as he lays waste to everyone 5. Final chapter scorpion defeats noon in one final fight but not before telling him…it will never be him. He will never be a true grandmaster as he lacks the heart Noob is then locked within the temple Second expansion Havik arrives with the mission to free Geras being the primary plot

In Khaos Reigns it was explained that by infusing the Kamidogu with Geras's time crystals Havik would be able to manipulate all timelines. Havik may not have been able to harvest all of Geras's time crystals before Scorpion and friends could save Geras, but Havik was able to harvest much of Geras's time crystals. When Havik returned to Earthrealm he was able to steal the Kamidogu back from Liu Kang and merged them with his own body. After Bi-han defeated Havik he was going to destroy him. Liu Kang's concern was that if Bi-han destroyed Titan Havik who had in his body the Kamidogu infused with the time crystals of Geras of Titan Liu Kangs timeline that it may destroy not just Havik, but the whole of Titan Liu Kang's timeline, hence why he found it necessary to stop Bi-han.

Imagine paying $50 for 6 characters, a few skins and 2 hour story that just…ends. What happened to Havik at the end? Last we see is him having his limbs ripped off and nothing but a stump with Komidogus. Tanya didn’t return for Oren after Havik was “defeated”. The story felt more about Bi-Han. Rain died so Tanya could live despite him being a Titan but I guess man gotta die for a black woman to slay 🤷🏻. And Tampax becomes Grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu because…? The ending feels like it’s a set up for MK1: DLC 2.

They explained in some intros that Liu Kang has imprisoned him. 2. it’s implied that she’s going to do it after words(which is why we don’t see her or the other cage anymore). 3. it is never confirmed that that rain is a Titan but he is an emperor. 4. And I don’t even know what you’re talking about with the last question but if I had to guess you’re talking about Sektor becoming the grand master for the Lin Kuei while Bi-Han is being healed(she later breaks him out).

Overall this game is a recreation of Deadly Alliance. In that game Shang Tsung and Quan Chi were the final fights in the game. They were not extremely overpowered compared to other characters. Moloch was an NPC sub-boss in that game, but he was super easy to beat. If you want more challenge I suppose you could turn the difficulty up, but I know what you mean. I myself personally would like to see a return of UMK3 motaro as a sub boss in future games as well as a well designed Onaga boss fight.

I’m just gonna paste my comment that I wrote elsewhere: Warning: Essay Incoming This whole fiasco was a big ol’ “meh” for me. What the hell happened to Titan Havik, Empress Tanya, and WW2 Johnny? Where did they go? WW2 Johnny especially could’ve been cut entirely or replaced with literally anyone else. He contributed absolutely nothing. Emperor Rain was cool, but he went out really stupidly. Could he not have held the walls apart and walk forward with the others after Sektor opened the door? And Titan Havik is somehow unable to regenerate his limbs at the end? The Bi-Han simps were right after all: he and Sektor really are a thing. I actually don’t hate it. And if Noob’s ending is anything to go by, he and his wifey will be going back to business as usual. But on the bright side, we’ll probably get the cyberized Lin Kuei that people asked for. They could’ve easily kept this latest reboot as a brand new start as intended. Instead of the multiverse stuff at the end of the main story, they could’ve incorporated some of the endings as main plot points. Show the start of Shao’s rebellion against the empire. Give Kitana a chapter where she leads the other warriors against him which sets her up to be the commander. Have the end credits tease the return of Onaga. The DLC could still be Havik-focused, but have it deal with Outworld sheltering the Seidan refugees after Rain’s ending. Maybe Havik recruited some low-born Seidans to his cause. You can have him get his paws on the Orderrealm Kamidogu somehow and use Chaos magic to corrupt it to imbue his allies with the same powers he has. Introduce Hotaru as one of the refugees that helps the Empress and the others defeat Havik and send him packing. Have Rain help as part of his penance, allowing Mileena to understand the benefit of mercy and give him some redemption. Hotaru can then seek the help of other Seidans and work on reclaiming Orderrealm. This whole DLC story showcases why the multiverse nonsense is getting really played out in western media. When done poorly, it diminishes any stakes and impact in a story. Dom should’ve had the pen slapped out of his hand the moment he suggested it.

You know, what bugs me about this storyline isn't the multiverse stuff, but the fact that they do fucking nothing with it. Like. This stuff always has the opportunity to go Absolutely crazy and off the walls and bonkers. Which the base game gave us a really nice taste of. Like, you could also give time to characters who didn't get much of a chance to develop in the original story mode, like Tanya or Rain ((yes I know he gets more development after the main story but they could have at least elaborated on that)). Maybe go into how Kitana struggles under the weight of commanding the entire military. Maybe have Shao's armies fight Haviks boys, until Onaga comes as like the atomizer. But no we're stuck with alternate timeline versions of rain, Tanya, and Johnny Cage ((who I'm starting to get really sick of when it comes to hogging focus)) in the same 3 locations for 2 hours.

I like all Sub Zeros. I like mk9's Bi Han, where he was an arsehole, but was professional about his job. I like both mk9, mkx and mk11's Kuai Liang, who doesn't have any hatred towards his allies, and even surprisingly has a maybe friendship with Johnny Cage. Although this version of Bi Han is more grouchy and even comes off as immature (a stark contrast from his mk9 counterpart), I like him a lot as well.

Really underwhelming. Now if AFTER Liu Kang restored Bi-Han, he said screw it I want Titan Havik's power, 4 da Lin koi and then you gotta beat him.. Again they're writing themselves into a corner, ruining out of story, AND they didnt end anything. Exactly this feels like a mid-way not a grand finish. AND no spoiler for MK13 makes you see - they haven't even thought of it yet.

In this timeline, I feel like Sektor and Cyrax should be codenames, like Reptile is to Syzoth. Hopefully, Netherrealm's next expansion pack features a villain that could actually feel like a threat... at least enough to destroy the other timelines. Fire God Liu Kang's "send them to the Void" strategy with Titan Shang Tsung, Titan Quan Chi, and Titan Havik is exactly the type of stunt Kronika did in MK11 Aftermath, and THAT blew up in her face. Either way, the next game needs ONE solid timeline. Every game since MK9 has been a rebooted version of the original timeline's series of events (Tournament, Invasion, Shinnok, Deadly Alliance, the return of Onaga, and the End/Armageddon?). I wonder if MK12 is gonna delve deeper into Blaze, Argus, Delia, Taven, Daegon, etc., because that's what it's feeling like. AGAIN.

If I recall correctly, in the base game, it was stated somewhere that in one alternate timeline, Harumi herself (somehow) became Scorpion and fought alongside the original Hanzo Hisashi version. Not sure how that would work...BUT, it's definitely way past time for some form of a playable Harumi!!

i think i would've liked it more if they had Havik decide to leave because things in this timeline are already scuffed and chaotic from the invasions shit and maybe Liu Kang attempting and succeeding in a crazy plan of some kind that has no right working out as well as it does, like absorbing some chaos magic to beat Havik and using it to separate some of the conjoined timelines, leaves him fucked up but still a very kind and nice guy, like a parallel/ subversion to dark Raiden. afterwards Havik is in his realm, his right hand man asks when they will strike again but he says they won't for the foreseeable future, more interested in what his invasion has and will cause to Liu kang's timeline than actually taking it over, but if he thinks things are getting too orderly, he's gonna start spreading some chaos there again, gonna say i'm not a writer tho so this idea could be total crap, and this hinges on them rewriting Havik to be more of an actual cleric of chaos than someone who only uses chaos as a weird form of control like he is in the story
