If Liu Kang was in Arkham, Arkham would be cleansed fully within a few months. My most controversial take about Liu Kang is this, I can always predict what he’ll do because he’s too pure. He’ll do things that are required to save lives ALWAYS. That’s his only flaw to me. Also he’s too humble and too nice. They need Bi-Han to be even more of a dick because otherwise he seems less messed up for whatever he did to whoever happens to be Scorpion or Kuai Liang. Ed Boon still cries over how the man who killed his favorite character got his own game and was given nuance in that game while Scorpion got nothing when John Tobias was still around.

They didn't seem to change anyone besides maybe Tanya and also maybe Bi-Han. Even certain changes to to kharacters, you could so they still have the remaining aspects.

Plus it's really cool seeing that there are different races which original Raiden aka caucasian appears in 1. He was always serious but they ruined him with being obsessed about Elder Gods. Somewhere between MK9 and Injustice 2 started with all that obession.
