I remember Raikou as being a very bad ass when you go through the storyline of a mortal Kombat Armageddon. He is right outside the door where the big bosses are and you have to defeat him to get to them and he is very difficult in that game considerably more difficult than goro.

I understand keeping some of the old original fatalities but I always thought mortal Kombat 4 had some of the best fatalities for these characters. The one where scorpion turned into a giant scorpion and Stone his opponent and then he rips the body in half while still a giant scorpion and the top half of the body is impaled on the stinger. With a name like scorpion that one makes a lot of sense. Also unlike Liu kang's where he turned into a dragon and bit you in half. Mortal Kombat 4 did not have the technology nowadays were the graphics they have they would be cool fatalities when you leave the leg standing after the body is b in half and makes it not seem as cool. Also I forget which game at was but there was one where Shang tsung turned into a giant spider and injected venom and then inhaled the body. I'm kind of giving away my age here but I love the game mortal Kombat 2 I tried many many times to throw Shang tsung a few times with Raiden or baraka I would succeed in tossing him. He must be a master in judo though because 95% of the time when you run over there to Tulsa Shang tsung he would pick you up first and toss you. I didn't like it in three when they kind of took you off the boss level and he became just a normal guy who you could throw a lot easier.

They haven't given a specific time for the first DLC character but I would speculate that it would happen in 2-3 months time. If you have the premium version you will be able to access the DLC characters 1 week early.

Reiko doesn't resemble himself at all, not just by looks, but by moves either. I've tried recognizing him on the selection screen during the Reptile vs. Rain match, but couldn't. Same happened with Geras, I had no idea who he was, but he kinda looks like himself and in the game (despite you didn't gave him much space) he's still awesome. Shame that he's the only one who got in from MK11, and it's obvious, why... I don't know why the very cool classic Scorpion is grey and I couldn't recognize Sub-Zero either. He has clothes that resemble Scorpion, is that deliberate, because they're supposed to be siblings here? Am I correct when I assume, that it's impossible to get Flawless Victories now, because the second fighter will hit you, no matter what?

This MK needs more skins and the option to actually see all of them, even if they are locked so you need to unlock them, just like in MK11. Then, more customization items, I really miss interactive things from every scene, you know, spears, barrels, explosion mechanism, so on, just like we had in IJ2 and MK11. Invasion isn't really what I though it would be, and gets kinda boring really fast. Yea, it's a fighting game, why do you need gear, items, things, when the most important aspect is combat ? Well, because we ( or at least, me ) used with those things in IJ2 and MK11 and miss them here. It really gives you more reasons to play, to grind, being able to unlock things. If not, I would just play street fighter, guilty gear strive, so on, games that don't have many ( or almost none ) unlockable items.
