Sub-Zero found her and put her under his wing seeing how she was a fellow cryomancer. She was skilled, strong, and powerful but very impatient. A lot the potential for power but she was not willing to learn. Likely this Frost just wanted a shortcut so she joined to the Cyber Lin kuei and became a newer model.
