This ending makes no sense because if the T-800 change the past to change the future from the realm he come for Judgement Day and the war not to happen then he was suppose to be erased because that timeline no longer exist, He shouldn't have to get rid of himself in sea of blood that pays an homage to the ending of T2 and also he cannot self terminated unless someone else threw him in the sea which is not the case or he's a machine from a different Skynet that was hinted to be the one from Dark Fart (Legion) that can possibly self terminate but even if that's the case he still shouldn't have to, Looks to me the writers didn't do their Terminator lore research when they wrote this ending.
