@YourMKArcadeSource : Hi on the 9 pins of the sound card power supply. the negative 5 volts (-5 v pin 6) connected to ground has a value of 3.35 Mega ohms. On the other hand, between the +5 volt pin (+5 v pin 8) and ground I obtain a value of 600 ohms. what do you think would be the problem?

I’m very new to the world of owning your own arcade and was lucky to come across a MK2 cabinet that I’ve gotten back up and running. The monitor has an issue of vertical scrolling that won’t stop with the potentiometers on the back so I think I need to assess the CRT board further. Regardless, here’s a very amateur question, where can I find the pin connectors that fit the CPU/sound boards PCBs? I’ve searched twisted quarter and other retro arcade supply sites but still haven’t come across a site yet that sells them. I had to solder the individual wires on the board which was not the best technique but for now is working. Thanks!

Are you referring to the Jamma connector pins? www.arcadepartsandrepair.com/store/pinball-kits-parts/pinball-parts/bifurcated-edge-connector-split-pins-18-24-awg-10-pack-me1004/

No, not the Jamma, it would be the 8 pin connector that goes from P3 on the CPU to P1 on the soundboard. I also have a Sega Turbo that has these connector harnesses (albeit much older). I’m just having trouble finding a site that sells 5,6,7,8, etc pin connector harnesses.

Hey bro I have a t-unit which briefly shows the version on-top when in test mode or graphics in game mode and immediately resets, goes into a reset loop. No bridged pins underneath, have you seen this at all with a t unit?

Reseat the two PLCC chips. (The two chips in the brown sockets).
