Shang Tsung is without doubt the best fighter material for TAS purposes. Being able to morph into any character makes him enjoyable to watch without getting bored in the process if the author knows how to manage the flow between combos and glitches, even messing with AI a little bit in a game like this were AI cheats on all the time, some repetitions are unavoidable as far as some combinations from both combo + glitching are old hat but still worth doing the lot of variations are still unlimited because you will never be able to add everything you want. That's what makes Shang Tsung videos the best in my opinion.

Recording tas videos does not demand lot of time, what takes time are the stuff you want to add on like: the best combos in any situation, the way you will mess and manipulate the AI for combo, entertainment purposes, the best glitches...if you are somehow used to or experienced with these combos and glitches it will take 2 days to record everything you want, of you aren't used for something like the corner stuff combos which requires frame by frame button press you may struggles a little bit leading into more days to finish everything you want.

Theoretically Smoke comes from Mortal Kombat one owing to Smoke being a Lin Kuei and being friend with the second Sub Zero aka Kuai Liang, that's how you can describe that message. Now about Smoke being an hidden character from the first Mortal Kombat game or if he is playable is somehow a big mistake, they probably just throught people would never realize or put effort searching ways to battle against him at the first MK by making these hidden fights be at goro's lairs (classic MK1 reference stage) but people was conscious about those messages and already tried searching for old footage gathering informations if those 3 (Smoke, Noob and Jade) was hidden characters from MK one but they didn't found anything nor the creators confirmed they are anywhere in the first MK game.

Competitive is all about character attributes, punishment, intensity and combos, Shang Tsung does not meet these conditions and I will explain why: >>>Morphing skill is indeed crazy but does cost around 7-10 frames just to morph into a character, believe me it's a BIG disavantage in a game like Mortal Kombat which are centred around phisic contact (mid screen) than fireball battles (full screen). The same goes for when his morph is gone (it does also take around 7-0 frames) putting him into vulnerably spot without any control, he is also not a very fast character compared to characters like Mileena, Scorpion or Raiden so if you are being pressured at corners how are you going to deal without being able to morph? Also the opponent will always take advantage knowing your morph ability has a time limit, fast characters will always be one-two step ahead knowing how to punish shang condiction. So having morph is good but at the same time a downside since it took both an amount of frames to morph into and the same goes when turning off + shang tsung itself does not having good attributes besides morph ability for a competitive view he probably has more downsides than a good reason to play him, it's the same reason why Spinal is not the best pick to play on Killer Instinct since he is very similar to Shang Tsung.

Não tem mesmo, para fazer Kintaro ou Shao Kahn eu preciso usar a versão plus mas eu tendo a não gravar vídeos desses chefes que só são apelões em dano mas que possuem 0 combos, exemplo eu posso gravar um Bison, um Rugal, um Akuma da vida sem problemas pois eles não são apenas apelação em dano mas são completamente bad ass em nível combo, infelizmente não é o que eu posso dizer sobre personagens como Kintaro e Shao Kahn, por isso de você procurar no meu canal não é que eu negligencie gravar os chefões mas sim que depende do jogo, eu não tenho nada a oferecer mesmo em um TAS video de diferente com esses dois boss do MK2 que um ser humano jogando em tempo real não consiga também fazer, o que já contraria a proposta dos meus vídeos que é mostrar roda a capacidade real dos personagens sem apelar para repetições ou dano massivo incessante em looping.

A user called underthepale said something about this bellow: The game is not supposed to move or attack after a babality so the game probably turn into a invalid state where hitting the baby start corrupting the memory, there are a lot of others crazy effects derivatives from this same glitch, the screen distortion is just one of them, you can turn raiden into a light for example by grabbing him in baby form, there are countless effects.

Em qualquer MK3-UMK3-MKT existem combos enormes que podem ser finalizados com brutality, basta você se utilizar de algum personagem com combo infinito (Sindel, Rain, Noob saibot, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, etc) todos esses personagens possuem infinitos seja o psx, saturn ou n64 de alguma forma seja ele meio de tela ou nos cantos e sim tem como você não quebrar a sequência e emendar em brutality dependendo do personagem que você estiver enfrentando, geralmente personagens de hitbox grande como sheeva e os 3 cyborgs te permitem continuar a sequência no meio de um combo infinito, e não aparece o hit display quando você não acerta a sequência, vou te mostrar abaixo... Infelizmente não lembro de cabeça ou quais vídeos eu já cheguei a fazer a mesma coisa mas se você quer um exemplo prático do que acabei de dizer e que posso te dizer que é possível porém é bem complicado de fazer quando não se esta gravando em TAS, porém o cara que fez esse vídeo posso te garantir que não se utilizou disso para gravar são combos que ele mesmo fez sem nenhum auxílio, basta clicar no link que já vai para o minuto 5:57 certinho que mostra na prática o que acabamos de discutir: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHewqKlodr-Ujrssi=Fj1ZRhgTthX0qjJ7&t=357
