The rom-hack for Game Boy Color is pretty impressive, is better than any other official 8 bits version, and honestly I would say the gameplay is even better than the GBA version, the people who made the GBC version really did a great job.

Dumb comparison. 1. That's MK1 on game gear, 2. That's the MK1 port on nes titled MKIII but the nes does have a port of MK3 and UMK3. 3. Either compare MK3 or UMK3. 4. UMK 3 and MK3 had so many different ports. From the UMK3 on Saturn and mobile Java, iPhone to MK3 on PC dos, PC windows and PS1, PS2, Xbox, GameCube.

The Game Gear version is wrong. That’s Mortal Kombat 1 on Game Gear and Master System. Mortal Kombat 3 on Game Gear is the same as the one for the Sega Master System. The NES version is a Mortal Kombat 1 bootleg.
