There is also a Universal Soldier game for the Genesis, which is actually a re-skin of Turrican II. What I would like is for these films to be adapted in a decent way for video games. Me and my brother used walk to king soopers in the middle of the night rent martial art movies and buy a box each of our favorite cereal and watch martial art movies all night. Jean Claude was always a favorite. We practiced kicks all night. Bloodsport was the coolest. Great memories.

Sounds a lot like my best mate in high school and I back in the early 90’s. We’d rent 7 weekly videos for $7 and spend an hour practicing our kicks in the backyard before watching a bunch of movies at night. Van Damme was our hero but we’d also enjoy the B-grade action of stars like Loren Avedon, Billy Blanks, Oliver Grunner, Matthias Hues, Cynthia Rothrock, not to mention Seagal for the more violent bone-snapping scenes :) Good times. Life was simple and full of excitement back then. May your memories of those times with your brother live on forever!!
