Him being grandmaster Hanzo Hasashi is perfect as that Scorpion should be older than usual. And, Joe playing the ruthless Bi Han's Sub Zero, damn! 👌 I already forsee this to likely match the Avengers Infinity Saga if the government would allow it.

@@sersastark Hmmm.. Perhaps, but the Shang Tsung of the OG 1995 Mortal Kombat is incomparable. He was the perfect artist to play the role. Also, I could say the Cano in 1995 film is a bit better in terms of stature & gesture. We will see though But the two main characters here are perfect. Hands down they choose the right artist to play Scropion & Sub Zero.

One thing that’s so dope, I read an article that said the blood dagger has never been shown or even mentioned in all of Mortal Kombat lore... so the people writing the movie were so deeply invested that they came up with something completely new that is ABSOLUTELY in character for Sub-Zero. You see that, and you can believe 100% that that was something Sub-Zero would do. That’s when you know a movie will be incredible; when the writers are so passionate and invested.

I've been waiting for and following this movie for 5 years when it was first announced so I know pretty much everything you need to know. To list a few things: Sub zero is supposed to be like "the big baddie". The Sub Zero in the movie is Bi Han (The first Sub Zero) but he dies and becomes Noob Salbot causing his brother to become the Sub Zero we all know and love. Kano was ment to fight for earth realm in the very first MK game the he betrayed everyone. Cole (the new guy) is supposed to be a way to explain everything and have it make sense why they're explaining everything. Plus the games add characters all the time so they saw no problem with it. Ermac and Goro has taken Jax's arms so they felt they had creative liberty with that to. It's gonna start with Pre death scorpion. Lu Kang is fighting Kabal when he makes the dragon. The guy in the painting is Kung lou who is the ancestor of the Kung Lou in the movie, he won the tournament 500 years ago. They're saving Johnny Cage for the second movie to give him a bigger part/role to play cause we're getting so many characters and a brand new character in this movie. The director is thinking either Ryan Reynolds or Scott Adkins (My idol)

One of the leading theories is that Cole Young, the "new" character, isn't actually a new character at all - he's probably Kuai Liang, the 2nd Sub-Zero and younger brother of Bi-Han, which would explain why Cole seems to be "hunted" by this Sub-Zero. The name Cole Young could be the Americanized name of Kuai Liang (note the similar sounding names) from having grown up in America or something.

Scott Adkins wants to be in it too, and he's got the right style to pull off the action of Johnny Cage. Ryan Reynolds has the personality of Johnny Cage but not sure if he can pull off the action needed. Either choice i'd be pretty happy .
