Yup. From what I heard, she got married, had some kids, and decided she wanted to be a mom and family-woman rather than a celebrity. Very respectable decision. A few other actresses have done the same, such as Shannon Elizabeth from the American Pie movies back in the day. And an example of an male actor doing this is Rick Moranis. The reason he suddenly disappeared from movies, when he was extremely popular in the 80s and early 90s, was because his wife died of cancer and he decided that he needed to be there for his kids. He wanted to be a full-time dad, rather than a celebrity parent that barely gets to spend time with his kids. He's a great man.

It's really funny how you can listen to Anderson talk about how people spend too much energy "trying to please the fans" with videogame movies and just put the pieces together about how the Resident Evil films were so awful.

It's not much of a story. Fights were cool, set designs were on point, and while it was cheesy, it was the right kind of cheese. Also - that damn song is no small part. MORTAL KOOOMBAT!!

MK1 was well directed. Lambert could have done the sequel. I actually liked Annihilation, even to make fun of some of the scenes and cheesy lines or cgi. It was still a great movie to put on and watch. Amazing soundtrack. MK1 was such a well done movie too plus increadable music and sets as well. A bit of a sausage fest here though. What about the guy that played Kano? Cary, sub-zero, Christopher, Bridgette, and Talisa?
