I only played this game on my friend's pc once. He dominated me with Goro, because there was no limit to juggling me in the corner ( 11:00 ). It was aggravating. I'm glad to see they fixed that issue for the ps1 release. In other news, I'm super bummed I didn't know it was released on ps1. I don't know how I missed it, because I had MK1-UMK3 on my snes. I was a HUGE fan for many years.

Yeah same here, but motaro was a cheap ass boss cause any projectile would either bounce back at you or just pass through him, plus he'll just throw you like a ragdoll if you get too close to him. He made me rage a little bit... But mk1 goro made me real mad and even made me break my first TV... But I eventually got past him with Sub zero. That was the best yet hardest fight I was in. I actually had to think up a strategy to beat goro: jump back, freeze, jump in, uppercut, repeat the cycle. That was how I beat goro.😑

To be honest, I didn't understand how the arcade ladder of this game is formed! First you fight with single fighters, then with a team of five people at once, then with a team from Goro and Kintaro, then with Motaro, and at the end with Shao Kang! Why was there a team of only three people this time, then one Kintaro, and then Motaro at all in a team with Baraka! Motaro is on the team! Yes, and with an ordinary fighter! You can't do that on purpose!

Yeah because one of Goro's attacks (the fireball especially) are glitchy and mess with the music tracks and throws in the Subway track. I guess the sounds were stored incorrectly as music tracks for Goro, idk

You can do it up to 100 % to Shao Kahn if properly executed. You just have to keep hitting him right before he falls on the ground and thus you empty his health bar.
