This feels like a pattern like with Raiden and Liu Kang in MK11, where Kronika manipulated them into fighting each other knowing if they work together they can defeat her together. Wonder what evil force drives Superman (the symbol for Hope) and Batman (the symbol for Fear) into fighting each other in the DC Multiverse, especially the Injustice Universe. And don’t say The Joker, he’s just a pawn to a more evil force, like Barbatos of the Dark Multiverse, the Anti-Monitor, or MKvsDC’s Lex Luthor who uses the MK’s Special Forces Portal Technology to discover the World Forge in the Sixth Dimension and use it to reset his Universe and rewrite it into the Injustice Universe, manipulating events that leads heroes into a dark path of villainy and making himself a god.
