I already completed MK vs. DC Universe by unlocking all MK and DC character’s ending by defeating Dark Kahn, the evil 👿 energy called the combat rage turning MK and DC characters against each other on the game. Dark Kahn is defeated by MK and DC characters and the rage is out of their bodies. That’s good times. 👍

Even though this game was a cashgrab for Midway before they went bankrupt, i will admit i found the premise to be interesting. It was a fun idea for a crossover, and i like that they still find ways to reference it in the newer MK games. Plus, the endings for each of the villains were hilarious. Darkseid being chained in the Netherrealm and Shao Kahn trapped in the Phantom Zone both make me laugh

They're not gonna show Superman ripping the Joker in half or Baraka shredding Batman to pieces, which is why they had to dumb down the Fatalities and made Heroic Brutalities. DC isn't as dark and gruesome as MK so it would make sense for them to stay in their own lane as opposed to a franchise that's pretty much about fighting to the death
