I will never understand the point of recasting almost everyone. There is a handful of characters that are still voiced by the same VA as in MKX (Such as Johnny) but literally 80% of the voice cast got replaced NRS can't say that the VAs underperformed, and I highly doubt that all of the replaced voice actors were unavailable when they were recording the voice lines (but even if they were, there is just no way they can't postpone the recording a week later or something). Can't even say that they wanted to be cheaper, well yeah, in some cases, even Sonya's VA had to be paid a lot just because she is famous, same for Kano's, and many more. No idea what the reason could be
