I like how you basically said 'fuck it' and duked it out with him toe to toe in the first round. I think that's the trick to him. I didn't figure it out until I had a sliver of health on the second phase, I went aggressive and he ran from me. As it should be.

​@Levi Dye If you miss a beat you'll die, but he's easier to manage if you stay in his face. As long as you can recognize a few of his key tells and gtfo it shouldn't be too bad. I beat him with Tiel and have no desire to go back there. lol

This game is pretty good...I usually watch your walkthroughs for these types of games, but I'm winging it and I'm doing extremely well.. it seems I've taking a different approach seeming you have that armor in that particular area..

Are the ice footprints causing slip effects? That's really cool that the boss creates a movement hazard. Also, love the way the boss seems to be glitching out as it transfers phases.

I beat the game. I'm satisfied with it I just wish it was longer though but overall it's a good and I'm glad I saw you playing it so I could get it. There are some areas where game can still improve on but I still had a great time playing and I'm loving the let's play videos, thanks for introducing me to this game cowboy.

The trick with the boss stabbing your armor so you can’t run back in automatically was a really clever idea.

Good job. Certainly interesting seeing this fight as a tank and how differently it plays out. I went in as Tiel. Could dodge for days, but 2-3 hits and you're dead. Kept getting so close only to miss time one dodge and pay the price for it. Got the last laugh in the end though.

I played eredrim with the chisel and had this as my last boss before the prisoner. I came in with 100 stacks of base dmg buff and basicly just traded with him till he died. I was so OP that I almost didn'thave to care at all.

Chisel + eridim is easy mode i think. Atleast compared to how the combat works . Just tank everything and still have high damage. Ive been playing this game getting ready for elden ring. I am also using tiel because as it it less forgiving and more skill orientated. Im trying to prepare myself for elden ring because ive heard the dark souls games are nowhere near as forgiving as this game

For anyone whose playing this and missed the Livestream the other day, you can kick the shield boys and break their shield. Works for all shield dude's just need the kick on what ever shell you're using.

I've been running Teal the acoloyte and the Marty's blade(big ass ice blade) and the combo with teals poison abilities with the huge stamina bar is a really fun way to play I'd give it a go if I was you lot

Funny fact with the Hammer and Chisel, if you harden with the chisel sticking straight out mid attack and an enemy walks into it they take damage like they've been hit and when the harden releases the chisel still connects like normal XD

I remembered fighting him with Solomon and Hollow sword +1 , I didn't have a good time. Dies about 15times. Coming here with Eredrim with Hammer and Chisel probably a good call because Eredrim can stunlock the shit out of this boss.

Damn! I'm at the end of it trying to fight the final boss, but I was only able to find 5 items to upgrade the strength of my weapons and unfortunately I put three into the two handed sword and that f****** weapon sucks against the final boss and I only have 2 upgrades in the Hollow sword and it's just not doing enough damage.. smh

One thing that slightly annoyed me constantly was when you waited for one heal to end so you can consume another. You can use multiple one after another and they are independent from each other and you would save time.

Bro how did I know u have different shells and weapons by now. I went to this spot way to fast that’s for sure. I have greatsword and reg sword and Solomon shell. Used some cloth that took away the great sword and gave me little sword. Tarsus fuckin me up though

This is bull i died to tarsus once and everything was gone all of my tar and glimpses all of my shells and my inventory now im stuck walking around with the ghost thing the base sword which gas no upgrades anymore and everthing is gone

FightinCowboy no like i died then respawned all the way at the begining of the crypts i ran all the way back and couldnt find my body and what im saying is i was the inner shell i lost the parry thing as well and i went back to get it and it just wasnt there

This area of the game is shit if you come unprepared because you can't leave after you beat the Enslaved Grisha. I came here first and had Tiel with a +0 sword. Dead in 2 hits and low damage output. I just started a new game because I wasn't about to fight this guy 50 times
