Hi Mort, long time viewer here. I just wanted to thank you for your content and contributions to this community you have put together. In the past 2 years I have lost my mother, my grandmother, and just today a close cousin. Whenever I find myself in dark times I know I can load up a Mortdog video and your silly banter can put my mind at ease even if just for a little while. You have no idea how much you've helped me get through some of the roughest times of my life without even knowing who I am. I just now Finished a game with arcanist spat + porcelain Syndra which Im commenting because I find it funny to see you have the exact same start pretty much. I ended 1st with lvl 9 and my board was arcanist rakan2, Annie 2, amumu 2, sett 2, sylas 2, porcelain syndra 2, lissandra 2, lux 3 with invoker Emblem and lastly ashe 2, which didn't really provide me anything but the game went long and I was always praying for a second porcelain spat for 6 porcelain. Fun Set so far, but I've had ahri encounter every game of the 7 I played

@5:25 Mort says here he doesn't think 4 Porcelain will see much play, and I initially agreed since I had found it hard to fit it in when I was trying to build Ashe comps in the team planner. But I just thought about it some more and realized that was probably because I was so focused on building a conventional "Keep the 4 cost ADC safe" comp as we've seen in past sets. Realistically, if this 4 piece doesn't see play it probably means that the units or the trait is bad. Think about it, you have Lux, a 2-cost backline CCer- one of the strongest outputs you can get out of a 2-cost in the late game. You have Amumu, a solid frontline anchor. You have Ashe, who loves what the trait offers her, and finally, you have Lisandra, a 5-cost legendary. Now, admittedly, Liss doesn't care too much about an attack speed steroid that only happens _after_ she casts, so she gets the least out of this but it's not irrelevant. It'll help her get her second cast and the DR might come in clutch every now and again. More importantly attack speed is a core Ashe stat and this trait gives an ample amount. Plus a free 2 Arcanist, with flexible build paths? You can easily go 4 Arcanist if you find Liss early enough, and use Kog Neko as trait bots which then allows you to get in Mythic Warden Naut as a main tank and even cap the frontline with Sett at 9. And if you don't find Liss/don't want to go deeper into Arcanist you can easily just build a 4 Warden 4 Porcelain comp to have a more solid level 8. I can understand if 4 Porcelain ends up not being able to compete with Ink Shadow- Udyr is the goat and it's a little difficult to justify running the two together. But when I look at everything this 4 piece has going for it I think it would feel really wrong for it to not at least be a viable option.

there might be a bug with the Azir encounter. me and my friend had teh Azir encounter in double up, and then we ended up getting four augments instead of three.

Hey Mort love from Egypt and here’s a small idea for the spats; with the implementation of the choice system like heartsteal and fortune. Is it possible to add the same choice system when building a spatula item so you can envelop more spatula combinations into a single set? For example in set ten the spatula + tear could give you a choice do you want emo or spellweaver and so on

Hey just a small suggestion: Can you change the Exalted's Soul Core to show the XP it grants rather than the current stack count? (Right now it's 2x the count above it, just reduces some unnecessary mental math).

I think at the moment the exalted core only gives 1 xp so the count is correct.

When Exalted still gave 2 XP per turn, the number went up by 2 each turn. Now Exalted gives 1 XP each turn, and the number goes up by 1.

I've been playing set 11 on pbe and the games seems very fast. Most of the games myself and others are hitting 9-10 very fast, some hitting 9 around 3-7 to 4-1. Just my opinion, good job.

3 star udyr is completely unusable, 3 star wukong is bugged untargetable and doesn’t move anymore, fortune in double up straight up doesn’t work at all (1 gold per round every round, that’s it. That’s the whole trait), and 3 star kayn is weaker than a 1 star Caitlyn (this last one might be an exaggeration but really 3 star kayn is complete shit rn)

@sophial7261 so basically, they made an effort to balance double up by removing the ability to send certain items to your partner, namely tome and spats, and made it more punishing to send powerful gifts. While it probably did help make the game more balanced, it also made it less fun, as it's harder to high roll, and for a lot of double up players, that was one of the main appeals.

I wonder why riot replacing the old level - odds system, the system back in set 9 is perfect until they changed it from set 10 onwards. Now it is just impossible to get 3 stars 5 cost champions anymore, I wish I wouldnt say this at first, but I am really disappointing now. Also, the little legend is actually a very great idea to suits every single player based on their strategy preference. Now, TFT is just a BS game with no late game fun element, everyone been fast 8 reroll for 3 star 3 cost champ without even seeing the full power of 5 cost champions anymore. With that being said, why don't riot just create the game which contains only 1, 2 and 3 cost champions? Saving your time and effort in developing new set while we as the old gamer won't be wasting time testing out new sets again and again without facing huge disappointment again.
