This wonderful song besides melody that sticks with you has a wonderful message. Morten is talking to his real brother whom be loves dearly but who doesn't embrace life and what they as brothes achieved quite the same. It reaps his heart, but his town is always open for the only brother he got - You are still my brother...!!! Do we love our brothers like that?

That is not correct. According to an interview Morten did, the lyrics are after a book he read about two brothers who had a falling out. It has nothing to do with any of his own brothers Kjetil, Gunvald or Håkon.
