it is difficult to know a person only through the media.

It may be so but at the same time you can learn alot from how they are personality wise. A person cannot hide who they truly are and his music says alot about him as a person.

this may sound typically arrogant British of me but when i hear him talk in his 1st language -it's wierd-as i grew up listenning to his English lyrics and interviews :-))) Can't understand it-but still good x

Let me tell you something: I too am mostly used to interviews with them in English, so especially when coming across older interviews from the 80s/90s in which they speak Norwegian, as someone who´s from the same area and with the same dialect, my initial reaction is always: "Oh! Um... why do you suddenly sound like guys next door instead of super stars... this is weird." So yeah... I feel you :)

I'm a native Dutch speaker and I can understand some Norwegian, because many words are simular. The strange thing is this goes for most Norwegians I hear, but with Morten it's different. I can't understand a word of what he is saying. Is he speaking some kind of Norwegian dialect? Does somebody know the answer?
@ahkkariq74062 жыл бұрын
Morten speaks as they do on Oslo's west side. A bit solemn, actually. I like that he uses words that can be perceived as a bit old-fashioned. He is some years older than me, and spent many years in England in his youth, so it is not surprising.

Did you said Morten is hated in Norway? why? We can´t understand what he is talking about but we know he is a thinker, sometimes is strange what he is talking about, maybe you said that because he is always talking and talking about little things?
@cheekysmiley2 жыл бұрын
I´ve never heard he´s hated, ever. If anything, a national treasure :) But he´s exceptionally eloquent and was even at a young age. I think some people are a litte intimidated by that, to be honest... and then some of us just think it´s damn entertaining!
