The first story really hit me. I had almost the exact thing happen to me it’s crazy. I barely have come out of that relationship and I felt so suicidal like I wasn’t enough. I was such a free happy spirit and extrovert, went out all the time with friends and turned into someone who was a sad lonely person who hated myself and never thought I was good enough. Being a man it's hard to admit this sometimes but this exact thing happened to me with my ex wife. When I stopped letting her control me she left and I literally had nobody. My mom and the friends I did have left took her side. She even sold my dad's guns to a pawn shop and took the 2 dogs we had and a few months later sold them too. Unfortunately for her I got them all back. The guns and the dogs. When she found that out she called animal control claiming abuse. They ended up having her up for making false allegations. These people are just horrible

As an older woman who has been through many things, one would consider trauma. Just move ahead and get the hell over it. Seriously. I know that sounds insensitive, but really, I mean well. Life is NOT going to stop turning for you, people will not be kinder for you. What trauma should and will do, is make you stronger if you decide it will. You can decide to be weaker or stronger. Seek counseling or whatever helps you. Leave PTSD to people who have really been through horrific things repeatedly. You decide to be a survivor or live as a victim. That said, I am genuinely sorry traumatic things have happened to you, and I am praying for you to come out stronger too. Don't give up, you can do it!

57:16 What about “Double Jeopardy” You can’t be charged for the same crime twice? Does this not apply in South Africa? I mean, it sounds kinda fishy, how would he not know she wasn’t in bed with him? He would’ve had to get his weapon from wherever it was, and would’ve then looked at their bed and see she wasn’t there- And why would she lock the door if it were just the two of them in the room, if she wasn’t afraid for her safety- He should’ve gotten Murder in the 1st degree the 1st time; but the Double Jeopardy “clause” protects people from exactly what happened to him. So, the judge and prosecutors messed up the first time, he did his original sentence, and then they charged him again: it’s not right, but.... It might just be fair. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Guess we’ll never know what new evidence was submitted. Such a sad & weird case.
