John Astin has admitted in some interviews that he and Carolyn Jones were attracted to each other. When they were working on the Addams Family, they never mentioned this to each other. Years later when Carolyn had cancer, John had a last meeting with her and he confessed that he'd always loved her and she told him that she felt the same way about him. John gave the eulogy at Carolyn's funeral.
