From the mid-90s to the early 2000s. There was "the excellent habit" of the proliferation of many bands with a programmed drum: Mortician, Drogheda, Signs of Dying, Sikfuk...According to the characteristic of their music, they sound better and more forceful, in the studio and live, with a programmed drum. As with Mortician, it has already happened with Drogheda who has switched to using the conventional drum. It definitely doesn't sound as good. Perhaps with excellent drummers like George Torres (Dehumanized) or Michael Christian Fitzgerald (Guttural Secrete), I might have a different opinion. How would Brodequin sound with a drummer like Michael?

George Torres played drums live for Mortician's Chainsaw Dismemberment tour. There may be some video of one of those shows somewhere on KZbin. That would have been 1999. Saw Mortician on that tour and Skinless was the opener. Nowhere near as many people at that show as this one has in the video. I think there were 10 or so people there that night. It was a good show, regardless.

Go sit in a backstage room or the bar if youre so important. What are these people even there for other then to 'Be Seen' like Lebron in the VIP section.
