You mean being a cashier in the USA is really depressing. I read and heard about so many weird things that are going on there, I've never seen that here. Also having to stand for hours in a row, what nut came up with that? Here cashiers sit, in a very good chair, not ruin their back by standing in one spot for a long time.

I've worked as a cashier for 3 months in a store Here in my country and actually the amount of dishonest people trying to deceive you at the moment they make the purchase is incredible high. if you're headed to work in a store i advice you be carefull in that moment because if you got a wrong ckeck out at the enf of the day you gotta be fired.

DO NOT PUT THE BILLS THAT THE CUSTOMER GAVE YOU DIRECTLY IN THE DRAWER!!! That is the proof what the customer gave you. Lay them crossways someplace separately.Entering what the customer gave you into the register shows on the monitor but IS NOT AS GOOD as showing the customer the same bills given you. The customer may say you typed it in wrong. There are so many young people that have been taught wrong by leaving this important step out. Also there are some scam artists that will give you smaller bills and claim they gave you bigger ones. Where is your best proof when you put the bills in with the other ones if you don't keep them separate???? Also, there are way too many of you young cashiers who put coins on top of the receipt and paper money in one pile. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Coins slide off paper too easily onto the floor. The coins should ALWAYS be place into the customers hand first. That way they are more likely to stay there AND paper bills are easier to handle even though there are coins in the hand. This was always done until this newer generation of people were taught wrong.

bottmar1 boy have i got news for u...
@bottmar16 жыл бұрын
What news for me? The way I described as professional is the way it was done for MANY decades. It worked better but young people think they know it all and old people that have done it wrong for years are worse than teenagers for being smart asses. If you are untrainable young you are for sure untrainable old.

@starbrand3726 Жыл бұрын
@@rhinopillow5497 It all depends on the company's policy. Some stores like Target will NOT do a refund without a receipt, and even if you do have one, they'll still give you a hard time. But other stores like Publix will let you return anything, any time, in any condition. Half eaten food, stolen stuff, stuff expired from years ago.

Which position, in addition to the manager / supervisor and front-end assistant, is responsible for providing money for change, makes product cancellations, refunds of purchases, returns of registered values by mistake, withdraws money from the cash register to the safe, performs substitutions between cashiers, opening, closing and checking cash registers. When the customer has a question about the price, validity and quality of a product and goes to the sales area to check the correct information? In general it provides assistance to cashiers. What if each supermarket has its treasury and what is the name of the position responsible for this sector?
