Batman's combo game was pretty one dimesonal originally, I think the changes give him more player expression. For example both me and a friend play him and he's obsessed with the Dair spike, so he'll go for dodge cancelled jab > down > sweep kick > batarang > DA and try to follow the bounce off stage with a Sair or cooldown neutral and get that edguard. Meanwhile I still play Batman very much like how he was previously and just go off the top with bomb planting jab > down > up > up special > try to read the DI/dodge for the up airs and get that gimp. Two different styles between players using the same character. However, his damage and kill power still being as good as it is for a combo heavy character like that is way overtumed. TL;DR Batman's changes was a good ide they forgot to actually balance

Hot take… favorite Batman is Will Friedele in Batman Beyond lol. I like his voice a lot, it’s raspy, mature & immature in equal measure as well as charming. But it can still be intimidating when needed. Favorite piece of Batman media is the Under the Red Hood animated movie. Best piece of Batman media ever

My favorite part for sure is Beetlejuice. The sauce he has now is SO much fun. My least favorite part is a little different - lack of variety (in my experience). Powerpuff Girls don’t count because they’re new, but I feel like the only character I’ve played against is Agent Smith. And those buffs got me SWEATIN to counter him lol!

But overall I’m enjoying the new season. Sometimes lots of changes at once are overwhelming but after a while it’s cool slowly adapting. I love this game regardless of how the internet continues to treat it.

Morty is already one of my most despised characters to fight against, so any buffs is automatically a red flag for me Favorite Batmen for me though are Kevin Conroy, Diedrich Bader, Bruce Greenwood, Rino Romano, Anthony Ruivivar, and Roger Craig Smith

My least favorite part of this season is Batman, Steven, and Samurai Jacks The events seem dope hyped for that, and i love that u r the only one that plays Morty and say his faults clearly and people just dont listen hahaha But i love season 3 Morty feels better and the PPG matchup is nuts for Morty so im happy

Hot take, Morty is just one of those characters I lose to 6/10 of the time. It's kinda weird, since almost all of em' play the same (except for you of course, which I think is entertaining, and actually made me wanna play Morty), but I can't help but think he's a little TOO good, especially against characters like Jason, Superman, and Bugs. Snake Shot, Dirt, Air Axe, and Fire 7 more times, are they're kinda just dead.

The quality of matches has not changed for me since launch day. I know SBMM is in the game but I don't see anything that's particularly egregious about season 3s tuning specifically.

W pfp btw. And I'm not sure why Nubia was picked but if I had to guess its because she might be getting a new comic run soon. She's the queen of the Amazons so technically she out ranks Wonder Woman herself. Cool character idea but there's so many MAIN EVENT level characters that haven't been released or put in yet. It's kind of like choosing Banana Guard over Bubble Gum or Marceline.

They removed t&js ability to cancel paddle into mallet it wasn't needed really they had already fixed the infinite completely with the dodge system (the infinite i never once us3d btw) and batman's over here top tire buffed hardd

the only time a ground tech is useful is if you can dodge out of the way from another setup, because once you get up you're still vulnerable for several frames. they may have "fixed" infinites but loops is still a thing.

Im getting same people 4 -5 times per night, 30-45 seconds to get a match, used to be 5-10 seconds tops and never the same people. That worries me, honestly its the toxic players making everyone leave, people need to start fighting instead of spending the whole match working on 1 cheap broken loop, that plus pfg buffing already strong fighters like Morty, Batman, sups etc.. and nerfing others like Gizmo into submission who was barley holding on since his season 2 nerfs like they dont play their own game. No balance what so ever and the class system means nothing anymore, that is all lol

Morty is hella annoying and for one Morty who will fight striaght up and wont run away other Morty players will run away and let their gadgets fight for them dude needs a nerf not a big one but a nerf that will force Morty players to fight more face to face. And jsur cause their are players playing a game doesnt mean a game cant die. People are playing Marvel vs. capcom Infinite, and that game is dead. Numbers mean little in the overall of things. So yeah, i like the approach of the game, and i like the game potential, but not every new character should be top teir and bascally unbeatbale. This shit needs balanced. Otherwise the game will eventually die.
