Fire album (feel like the level of the tracks 'K.O.S.' & "Thieves in the Night' are all time classics but fly so far under the radar) - you gave it the acclaim it deserves RIGHT HERE! Some album thoughts (there are so many but just thinking of samples from across that golden era of some of the true Monsters: Fugees "The Score" / The Roots "Illadelph Halflife" / Outkast "Aquemini" / Tribe Called Quest "Midnight Marauders" / Dr Dre and Snoop "The Chronic" / Gang Starr "Hard to Earn" / Pharcyde "Bizarre Ride to the Pharcyde" / Cypress Hill "Black Sunday" / Souls of Mischief "93 Till Infinity / ANY OF THE FIRST ROUND OF WU TANG SOLO PROJECTS, especially Rae and GZA..... left out too many to count - love what you are doing here, feel the reaction right there with ya bro.

The Brown Skin Lady sample in the beginning is played on a Podcast I listen to daily, he ends the program with that to end the broadcast. Glad to see someone peep hip hop/rap because the myth is it's all gangsta rap and violence. This is should be on people's bucket list for albums. 🧠💯👍🏾

The sample is originally from an independent movie called Chameleon Street that was written and directed by Wendell B. Harris Jr. Great movie and can absolutley recommend it. Criterion released a restored 4k version 2 years ago or so.

Man, this was in steady rotation in my car back then. Hearing it now, I feel like it could come out today and be highly relevant. Its just classic, undeniable hiphop. I know the kids got something of their own, but we were blessed with so much musical flavor. Between this, Black on Both Sides, Things Fall Apart and so much more, we were truly blessed.

Yeah this was really cool. It seems really rare for rappers to cover a rap. But I recognized it right away because it was a popular Slick Rick song and I finished h.s. in 1990 so I knew popular music 🎤💪
