Stained glass, ceramic, and mosaic artworks always amaze me.

These artworks always fascinate me in how people have the patience and the eye for detail to work them out. It's like doing a really big jigsaw on a floor and trying to see the detail but not lose the surrounding picture...can't be easy if you have an "off" day and things just don't fall into place!. That's one piece of the ancient world that we all deserve to keep going in the modern world.

Oh, the site specifics of the install, and what adhesives to use- that's what can give me sleepless nights. ( let alone water immersion and/or weather considerations and how that influences design, materials & process choices). Love the art part...

You can buy small glass tiles, or if you wanna work even smaller, you can get glass beads, and glue them onto a grid.

@@irondasgr Get in touch with the company and see if you can work for them for 3 months in exchange for travel & living costs. The US desperately wants immigrants who can speak English and aren't drug dealing cartel assassins and EU citizens have a no visa requirement for 90 days on every arrival from overseas.

Maybe you should have asked what the process is because every step you got wrong. Grouting does not keep the pieces in place and you don't cement it in place.

Great ideas but the flames behind the stove, the pool flower and the butterflies on the floor look tacky and cheesy
@susanswaim84972 жыл бұрын
Beautiful work. But FYI - the floor mosaic was not stained glass. It is smalti. Stained glass for flooring is too thing and not suitable.

can't you just paint on the wall and then use a hammer to create cracks in the wall? It'll look just like a mosaic!
@hllboi_4425 жыл бұрын
If you paint in the wall thrn hammer it, the wall will also break (opinion though) and I think it wouldn't have the same look to the more longer and detailed way. Again just an opinion

Wish these things were more available for public viewing rather than rich peoples' homes. Shame really. Could say the same about a lot of art
@marieremelie67163 жыл бұрын
So artists shouldn’t be paid for their talent because you want something fancy? Hm
@ceton18434 ай бұрын
Sadly art has become pretty undervalued in society, it's more of a luxury for rich people who can afford to commission some of the very view active artists in a select field who can't make a living otherwise bc that's the only place where work is for them.

Enjoyed the video did not enjoy the music the music is distracting I don’t understand why everyone puts music in behind you’re trying to watch the art you’re trying to listen to what you were saying either quiet to music or get rid of it
