Oh wow, The comment section is back! By the way, I would like to apologize for being an a$$hole to the Megalodon fans. I tried to give you guys a scientific facts BUT I didn't mentioned that *my battles are created for fun, and they're don't have to be scientific accurate* . Yeah, I might be stupid but it's alright to make mistakes and accept them. Now for the real reason why Mosasaurus has won. No, I'm not a Megalodon hater, I do think it's a cool creature, but it's overrated AF. I've seen only a few videos with Mosasaurus winning and a thousands of Megalodon winning, so I decided to make something different. Also that's just my opinion, and it's okay if you're disagree with me, just don't act like a butthurting child.

@@madblacksmithofm Mosasaurus was streamlined, much more than the Megalodon so it was faster. While Megalodon was 20.1 meters, and had an enormous bite strength the Mosasaurus was likely smarter. Don't forget, Megalodon was out competed by animals like Odontocete(toothed whales).

Ok but the mosasaurs jaws actually weren’t strong enough to bite of chunks of its body and the megalodons bite was almost as strong to 1 shot the mosasaur So scientifically the megalodon would win this battle. Also I’m pretty sure there was a shark that was 26 feet that hunted mosasaurs tylosaur and dinosaurs. And it’s also possible that the megalodon went 35 mph and the max a mosasaur can go was 30 mph

no one really knows what megalodon looked llike, they base it on a model if it's related to great whites, but it was probably related to sand sharks, so it was probably slimmer, a shark of that weight would be very sluggish and would be more of an ambush predator, a Mosasaurus would have a speed and agility advantage.

I really enjoyed this animation and it's nice to finally see an animation which shows the mosa winning because in reality the mosasaur has the advantage, the only thing the megalodon has over is size and bite force, and let's be honest bite force doesn't matter that much and also I see many people saying that the meg was heavier so it would win, I mean it was heavier so it was likely a lot more robust and big so the mosasaur would have had a bit of a struggle killing it but the mosasaur was faster, more agile, probaby a lot more careful, and it would've snuk up on the meg at the start and get it from behind, but I like this animation its quite accurate.

A mammal is a mammal. While it is true that mosasaurus has to breath air a lizard is not a mammal. A lizard is it’s own classification. A mammal is a creature that gives birth to live young (aside for platypus and echidnas) and has some form of fur. A lizard is a creature that is covered in scales is cold blooded and has no fur. Though a lizard can give birth to live young it is uncommon.

Normal size nah Normal Meg length is maybe 15m. The maximum estimated length for a mosa is 17m. But remember, the mosa is built like a noodle, the meg is more like a long rectangle, so the meg would weigh a lot more and therefore have a bigger mass which is the term used by scientists to describe size.

in my opinion, it isn't right to be butt hurt about this. Both the Mosasaur and the Megalodon were apex predators. Both were also about the same length and size. However, the only difference between the two is that Megalodon's bite force is significantly stronger

Good job. here is some tips if you wanna revamp it and make it even more realistic. 1.Megalodon does not come from the deep and strike the side, they go straight for the belly and launch out of the water with it to snap it in half (much like a great white would) 2. Although not super smart, the mosasaurs would try to go for air at some point in a long battle and megalodon would seize the opportunity to strike the fins from there. The reason I say Meg is not that smart is because I don’t see it trying to prevent the mosa from breathing. 3. The megalodon would try its best to sneak attack multiple times, and the mosa could not go as deep due to its need for air. The meh could easily use that to his advantage. I don’t know much about the mosasaur and his attack habits so that would be up to someone else to add but this is if you were planning to do another one that’s really fierce. Great job though

Honestly it's which ever gets the first attack off wins, because if the Megalodon gets first bite it will tear off the tail or limbs of Mosasaurus, same for the Mosasaurus. I do believe the Megalodon would win based on how it is made to take out huge prey, its main way of hunting is one huge attack and letting the victim simply bleed out while being eaten. While the Mosasaurus would never go after Megalodon, the Megalodon would probably try and hunt Mosasaurus. That's simply facts.

Ohhh well TBH this is accurate cause scientists saud that Mosa would eat mostly anything but food and that includes sharks. If it faces Megalodon Mosa's appetite will just boosted cause it's meal is bigger and slower. Sorry before I was a Meg fan but trust me Mosa will just crunch Meg's tail because Mosa's hunting experience is superior than overrated Meg. A fight would be similar to this but I’ll narrate in my way: A Megalodon spots a whale and starts chasing it and finally in a couple bites kills it while Megalodon was eating mosasaurus saw Megalodon and tried to ignore him knowing a fight could end up badly but after finishing Megalodon tries biting but misses and mosasaurus bites down on the tail and throws it but then mosasaurus tried looking for it but saw nothing and then Megalodon bites the the flipper and mosasaurus shakes it off and bites the face of Megalodon and starts shaking it causing more blood coming out but then Megalodon suddenly bites the spot between the head and neck but mosasaurus shakes it off but Megalodon bites the tail but mosasaurus slams Megalodon against underwater mountains and cliffs and throws Megalodon out of the water and Megalodon bites the middle area of the mosasaurus trying to break the spine but it is too weak and mosasaurus firmly slips out of the shark’s jaws and then gets head butted by the Megalodon and they start to wrestle its so intense they were ever coming out of the water and then mosasaurus bites Megalodon’s face and repeatedly head butts it but Megalodon bites off one of the flippers of the Mosasaurus but mosasaurus slashes the throat and neck of the Megalodon and bites the underbelly and bites off the side fins so Megalodon is unable to escape and mosasaurus bites the gills as strong as it could with the most speed as it could swim and as Megalodon starts floating to the surface as it takes its last breath mosasaurus bites Megalodon in half and tears off large chunks and eats the chunks

nah more like The megaladon instantly senses the mosa from miles away with its electroreception, something all sharks have. It turns and sees the mosa rushing to it, it would dodge the mosas lunge, then just lunge at its belly and tear it off, because a meg isnt weak like your biased mosa fanboy min thinks it is, infact a mosa only has 14000 psi of bite force compared to the megs 41000 psi, and a great white with 4000 psi can tear off whale blubber easily, so a meg would just slice through a mosa like a hot knife through butter. Also a mosa cant just swim out a megaladons jaws, shark teeth will literally hook onto prey and the only way an an animal can get freed is if the shark pulls the teeth out and lets it go.

That is not how the meg attacks. The meg attacks by biting off it's prey's fins sothey cannot move and are stunned. If the meg is eating the whale, after it's tactic, it will usually go for the heart. Not accurate, but nice!

Makes sense for Mosasaurus to win more than Megalodon. Mosasaurus was likely faster being a lot more streamlined. Even though the largest Megalodon were 20.1 meters they weren't as fast as modern day Blue Whales and Fin Whales. And Mosasaurus having an eel like body was likely faster. Let alone, Mosasaurus was also likely smarter than Megalodon. Mosasaurus would win 80% while Megalodon would take the other 20%. Don't forget, Megalodon was outcompeted by Odontocete(toothed whales) because they had immensely advanced echolocation(of course Mosasaurus didn't have echolocation).
