I have a Throwback story of when I first got into magic. It was around Urza's Legacy times, and I pulled a Foil Multani Maro-Sorcerer from 1 booster I bought at my local card store. At the time, I freaked out as it was the first Foil set and it was a Rare with good abilities at the time. I had my sister drive me back to the store for a hard sleeve for it, and I still have it today in near mint condition...I was so pumped when I got that card, as I was a teenager then.

Best pull was actually a pack I gave to my wife to open. She pulled and etched foil wren and 6 ! Blew my mind with the luck she has ! Loved it !

An owner of an LGS was opening a new set booster of commander masters after he ran out of his single pack display. I then asked if I could pick a random pack out of the box and he let me. Ended up pulling a jeweled lotus out of it, he couldn't believe it. I was coming back into the game after stopping in 2017, so it was pretty frickin sweet.

First Phat Pack I ever opened was Aether Revolt. One of the boosters contained the Kaladesh Innovations Wurmcoil Engine. I had been wanting to build a wurm deck, but needed a super star. I finally built it. 😊

My best card pull was during a Conspiracy 2 draft on release night. I pulled the Kaya, Ghost Assassin alternate art ($300+ at release). The next best was Jace, Mind Sculptor foil from a Masters 25 pack I bought at Walmart

My best pulls of 2024 so far have been from two booster openings and both within a week of each other. First pack; I went into my local costco to grab the Jeskai commander deck and within the Commander Masters booster I pulled a Foil D Swat and D Rollick in the same pack. Pack Two; My brother and I purchased 13 LOTR draft boosters and split them, within those packs I pulled a Foil Orcish Bowmasters.

A day late to the party, but anyway. 2 stories here, cause imo they both felt equally great at the time: 1. First one was when i pulled a Mana Crypt from the first set of Mystery Boosters. Had bought a box a few years ago and did a Winston draft with my ex gf (together at the time). Had drafted for a few minutes, gf picked a pile of cards, put down a new card to reset the pile, and when i got to look at it, lo and behold: Mana Crypt! Let out a triumphant yell, sleeved it up asap, and had a very good day after that (pulled so much fun stuff from the box overall. It was a really good day!) 2. Don't remember which kind of tournament it was, but it was a tournament at my favourite semi-local magic community in autumn last year. I came in last place, which sucked, but we all got a promo pack each at least. "Sweet, at least i get to crack something", i thought. Opened the pack and stared at a Sheoldred, The Apocalypse. I felt like i won in the end, and had a very good night afterwards.

Sword of Fire and Ice masterpiece about 10 minutes before watching the final episode of Game of Thrones. Boy was that episode a bummer... but the fact it was the Sword of Fire and Ice makes it one of my favorite memories to date.

For my birthday, a friend bought me a collectors booster of phyrexia: all will be one, since it's the first set to be released after I started playing and to this day, my favorite set. We opened a Sheoldred the apocalype (concept praetor). My best pull by far (second best must be an foiled Atraxa I got 2 weeks ago)

Honestly I played mtg 10 years ago when I was in the military and lost all my cards in a flood where I stored my belongings when I was out on a deployment! I bought a pre made deck (can’t remember which one) and a few packs to mix in. Don’t really have a crazy pulls store but the past two weeks my brother got me into mtga and it has been running my life and all I do is watch pack opening while playing ranked 😂. Really thinking about getting back into the card game when financials allow. Love your videos rare gaming is always a good watch! Good vid no matter what was pulled.

opened a full alt foil collectors tiamat when the d&d set first dropped. when i first got into magic as a kid. i got the 1999 2 player starter kit at kb toys. there was a grim tutor in it. was around $200 until it got reprinted.

At Walmart, had a random cardboard crack urge and bought a pack for Aether Revolt. The rare slot was Torrential Gearhulk. The foil spot was Masterpiece Mana Crypt. 4.34 for the pack. Greatest pull I've ever had.

Best pulls = dozens of revised dual lands. I got into MTG during The Dark, Antiquities, Revised. Never opened much Dark/etc, but opened BOXES AND BOXES of Revised. Like, just tons of it. We had stacks of duallands, demonic tutors, fork, wheel of fortune.

not my best pull ever but i remember back when dominaria packs were at walmarts and i bought like 3 or 4 packs and pulls 2 teferi planeswalkers, 1 was foil. i think they were going for around 85 dollars at the time. needless to say i went and sold them right away and finished building my arclight phoenix deck lol. that was a fun day.

Hi Joey, funny thing is my best pull was recently. I got into magic during oath of the gatewatch so that set was nostalgic for me. I had to sell my collection a while ago unfortunately. I recently bought 4 fat packs off eBay to relive the set and as I never opened an expedition at the time, I hoped to get lucky. I managed to pull a rugged prairie and a Kalitas traitor of Ghet in the same booster pack 😂 I know the set is relatively valueless and I lost money, but to open those cards again and smell that distinct smell was worth every penny

My best pull...was also my first pull. I bought 2 beta starter decks way back when, my first purchase into this crazy game. Opened the first one, and discovered it was one of the 'boosted' starters, all uncommon were replaced with alpha rares. Got an alpha Chaos Orb and Tropical Forest, and beta tundra and time walk.

My best pull, I was 9 and that will forever be my best pull. Go to Toys R Us, it’s 1999, life is great. I grab two Charizard Pokemon booster packs, back to back from the same box, right off the top. I go home, crack em, BOOM, each pack I pulled a Charizard! I eventually traded one straight up for Venusaur so that I’d have the big three with Blastoise. (Many people forget that Venusaur was as hard to pull as Charizard). My other Charizard currently sits as a PSA 7 on my wall. If I had to sell all my other cards and only keep one, that’s the one I keep. It’s childhood nostalgia in its purest form.

Back when innstrad was in standard. My lgs owner to convince to buy a box said he’d let me pick 36 packs of what I’d wanted and he’d sale it to me for same price as a box. So I did half avacyn restored have innstrad. Pulled avacyn angel of hope and garruk relentless in same pack, and Lilliana of the vail. I was hyped!

I played magic back in the day and started with a friend playing a green-black deck of his. We played best of 3, and he won of course 2 to 1 but the one game I won holy skadoosh it felt amazing and I was hooked. the next was at my local game store bought the last unlimited starter deck, The store owner wished me good luck as I sat down at a table and cracked it. The smell of cracking it oh boy and still in my head to this day. my big pull was the Black Lotus, the owner offered to buy it (now having collected sports cards when someone offers money, to you for a card you know it must really rare card ) I said no. Skip head to 2002 I had lost interest and all my cards were in a card box. I sold them all to a friend for 500 dollars(wish I hadn't now but need the cash) oh well, lesson learned just like The Moss Boss. My young brother quit drinking in 2017 and started playing and asked me in 2018 if I like to play with him with one of his decks. The next thing I knew rehooked in the magic world again
