While many may not know that Franco Moschino initially aspired to be a painter, his journey ultimately led him to the world of fashion, where he left an indelible mark.
Franco Moschino's artistic roots ran deep, having studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and worked as an illustrator for fashion magazines like Linea Italiana, Harper's Bazaar, and later for Gianni Versace. Although he diverged from a career in painting, his artistic sensibilities continued to shape the world of fashion.
Fast forward to today, where some of Moschino's artworks, celebrated in 1993 at the "X anni di Kaos" exhibition and later compiled in a book of the same name, have become the inspiration for the Spring Summer 2024 collection. This collection is, above all, a homage to the fashion humorist-an artist who revealed profound truths through laughter and infused his designs with light yet cutting-edge irony, a hallmark of Made in Italy.
