This is so sad. I imagine in addition to the sadness of the family members there is also the difficulty for the first responders and the police responding and speaking now. It’s so sweet for the spiritual communities in both Boise and Cour d Lane to support the Vandal community.

How could the other roommates be home at the time of this slaughter and not hear 4 f'n people being stabbed to death? None of this is adding up. The killer/killers were moving through the house and obviously couldn't see in the dark at 3-4 in the morning when this happened, so they had to either turn on the lights or use some kind of flashlight to move thru it. How would that not wake somebody up? It will be interesting to see what comes out in the days ahead.

You never know how lacking your police department is until something like this happens. 4 days later, the chief of police finally tells the community isn't safe. Why 2 girls were not attacked. Why the girls didn't see there friends were murdered. Unacceptable 4 days to warn the community. We told our daughter going to university to come home. She said she can't because the university continues having classes. I hope the FBI takes over the investigation. I don't trust law enforcement.

Some of these reporters ask dumb questions. The Police must stick to the facts as they gather them. 4 young lives were taken and my heart goes out to the families and the community. Thier cell phones may be helpful in the investagation.

Especially the ones that ask questions that were already answered like the third woman who asked about the targeted attack when the Chief answered it when the first woman asked.

It almost seems they were drugged for all 4 to be murdered. Slipped something w/o their knowledge... Check their cups at home and everywhere they went. Continued prayers for their family and friends and loved ones. It is just inconceivable this could happen.

Second reporter to ask questions (the guy) is a tool. There’s been just as much released on this case as many similar multiple homicides and he seems to be more concerned with asking ‘gotcha’ questions.

Considering the supposed brutality of the crime scene, it's unlikely. Samples are very easily cross contaminated when working with a scene that vicious.
