I think there isn't a person who lives in Russia, who doesn't know Gorky Park. But how about Muzeon Park right next door. I wonder how many people even from Moscow haven't been there before ? Visiting in the winter is also amazing. It's cold of course, but if you dress correctly, its no worries to enjoy this place. You know, growing up in the US all you hear is how horrible Russia is. I love seeing that Russia is actually a beautiful place full of beautiful people. It also seems to be so family oriented. And so unbelievably safe. I would love to travel there. Actually it seems like living there would be wonderful. I just love it

All Russell's videos are so nice, I still remember that walk in the Gorki park and amazing sunset views over open air dancing platforms overlooking river bank. Talking of history. Apparently USA didn't even exist as a country or on the map when Moscow established Bolshoi Theatre. Not sure when exactly Bolshoi Theatre was established, but a trip there would certainly make another cool video.
@NewAlbionTV
@NewAlbionTV Ай бұрын
@andreich_russia Was USA founded at the same time as Russian Bolshoi Theatre?
@NewAlbionTV
@NewAlbionTV Ай бұрын
@andreich_russia Also, are we talking about USA colonial territory as part of the British Empire or USA which was established after independence war from the British? I think USA did not exist as independent country during colonial British oppression. So we can only talk of USA as a country after they got rid of the British regime.
@NewAlbionTV
@NewAlbionTV Ай бұрын
@andreich_russia My understanding is that American war for independence from the British colonial oppression only ended in 1783. @@TravellingwithRussell I'm Russian and I don't know what an olive tree looks like, they really don't grow at Moscow's latitude. The tree at 21:19 is in a wooden box. If you follow Russell's channel, you know that in Moscow they sometimes decorate squares with flowers and even trees in mobile boxes with soil, and then take them away. But maybe this is a mobile tree that the KGB installed. We'll have to see if this tree haunts Russell in future videos.

Mainly in summer house in far suburbs or nearest regions (100-200 km); almost each family in Russia have such small house far from cities. It is last days of summer, so people spent time there, especially elders who most of year live there and return back to cities only for winter.

It’s ironic that Moscow built a statue of Peter the Great considering he hated Moscow so much so that he moved Russia’s capital to St. Petersburg 😂

Zaryadye park is good, but not great. When it was built the amount of money that got stolen was absolutely absurd. The most expensive park in Russia 430mil dollars. This park doesn't even look like a 430mil dollar park, it looks basic, the materials cheap especially the pathways.

@@TravellingwithRussell I been there this July. It just doesn't look like it's supposed to be for the amount of money spent on it. You can literally see the people that built it are cheapskates, most of that money they put in their pockets. This park is probably the most expensive one not just in Russia but in the world.

Do they make those kids recite "Its good to die for the motherland" in school and drop out in the 9th grade to work in missile factories? Or is that just the poor kids and ethnic minorities that live in the oblasts.
