1 person hates freedom. President Reagan was the greatest political speaker the world has ever known. "We don't mistrust each other because we're armed, we are armed because we mistrust each other." Truer words have never been spoken so clearly by another person! This speech was one step closer to ending the Cold War, which finally came to an end some 3 1/2 years later as a result of the collapse of the USSR in 1991. God bless you, Ronald Wilson Reagan...1911-2004. Rest well, Sir!

RONALD REAGAN was the last greatest president we know. His voice of experience .purveying freedom and American values .to another great nation in transition careful to be tactful is what Reagan was about. Never ever mean or self serving totally honest always Yes Mr. Reagan's character is what I loved most about him. I could go on and on but to me RWR was a great president and human being I so much miss . RR always was optomistic truthful and made a major change to the world .

No, don't let it fall. Rebuild it by adhering to the wonderful Constitution our Founders gave us. Reagan spoke well of our traditions and his talks were very Presidential in that same tradition. Imagine what Obama would have said to these same people.

only American presidents can give such rich, significant, and timely speeches or addresses. I am surprised seeing the students being such ignorant not standing and show respect to president when he stands for speech.

+Brithing Warraing because americans know how to sell the story. might it be in politics, business or entertainment. but to be clear, all these speeches are writing by others, who knows, maybe some hollywood directors? who knows ;)

I think we would do well to heed Reagan’s words in these days. How sad that someone like me who has studied what really happened on 9/11 and committed no bad deeds is now afraid of traveling to the US, fearing that more than a mere routine passport check awaits me at the border.

This is the problem with only having two terms. I'm a democrat, but I'd vote for a guy like this. If there were, republican or democrat, then we'd only get him, or her, for 8 years... and that's it. Republicans are always saying "let's embrace the constitution, our forefathers were correct," - well, the 22nd amendment was proposed in 1947 and enacted in 1951, so it had nothing to do with our forefathers. We should make a new Amendment, a 28th Amendment, to give unlimited terms, after Obama leaves office in January 2017. Otherwise, even if we don't let them go around in open cars at 5mph, we won't get to keep our JFK or Reagan or Clinton... rather we will have to suffer a Bush or two, or a Carter, or an Obama. If Reagan could have stayed President until 1996 while his health held up and Clinton could have stayed President until now, we'd all be a lot better for it.
