I have 2003 tj. W/broken rear axle. How can I count the splines to order the correct replacement (of of the axle ? ) How do I get out

might be easier to just identify your rear axle and go from there - since you have an '03 TJ and assuming your axles are original to the vehicle you'll either have a Dana 35 or Dana 44 in the rear.

What are you building? I'd like to have some stub shafts made for a Ford 8.8 irs diff so I can use them in a vette. The vette output shafts are u joint style and act as part of the suspesion.
