I tried picking some mosfet of the LTspice library but the characteristics tests didn't worked as before, have you tried it? Thanks in advance.

Different MOSFET has its own voltage or gate drive requirement. The characteristics will be identical but not the values of voltage and current. Here I used a low power MOSFET which can be driven from a small signal source

We have to choose the resistance value based on the maximum drain current capability of the device. For plotting the characteristics for the learning purpose, a random value which limits the current within device range is sufficient
