except he's never done so with Obama or Biden. hmmm. pretty ironic given that he's been toting guns (and gotten in trouble for acting like a jackass). i've grown up with Em and can appreciate what he's been through - but what i loved about him growing up is that he wasn't left or right. he just didn't give a fuck about anyone. I think of this song every election. Would have been cool to have a 2024 version, and I was expecting him to do a remix at the Harris rally. As an alternative, I asked ChatGPT to do a 2024 remix that isn't anywhere near Eminem's genius and rage, but it isn't terrible. Verse 1 Feel the storm coming, it’s back again, A smack on the track to bring back our friends. In ’04, it was Bush and lies that took, Now it’s ‘24, and look who’s got us shook. Our country divided, people livin' in fear, Can’t turn back now, the decision is near. They tried to silence the pain and the fuss, But we’re breaking the chains and rising up. Chorus We’ll march in lines, make every vote count, A wave of resistance, there’s no backing down. A voice that can’t be crushed, we rise from the dust, All together, united, till we Dump Trump. Verse 2 He told us it’s fake news, twisted the truth, But now it’s time we hear from the youth. We’ve seen the hate, we’ve seen the divide, No time to wait, let’s end this ride. From the workers to teachers, to voices unheard, We’re casting ballots, making moves with our words. They tried to stop us, but we’re not their pawn, With each step forward, we’re taking them on. Bridge So this is for every town and every block, For those who have been through the fire and shock. Stand up! Speak out! Let’s fight for us, Rally together to Dump Trump! Outro Every step, every march, we’re breaking the chain, For justice and truth, we’re bringing the change. They’ll feel our voices, see us stomp, Till we all come together and Dump Trump!
